For Creative Finance Institute to provide you with quality advice and both
initial and ongoing service we will need to collect personal information
from you. We understand that the information you provide represents your
personal privacy and is to be kept strictly confidential at all times. Accordingly
we feel it is important that you understand how we will respect your rights
to privacy and how, when, and where your personal information may be used.
WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND WHY
Creative Finance Institute will obtain personal information from you
for the following reasons:
- To assess your eligibility for different loans and determine
which loan will meet your individual needs.
- To assist you in applying
to the relevant financial institution and in turn help them to appropriately
assess your application.
- To assist you with any ongoing needs you may have.
- To communicate information about products, services, or special offers
that may be of interest to you.
- For internal use for our own research or to assist in planning our marketing.
We do not sell our client lists or information to third parties and will
not provide your information to a third party without your permission other
than if required to do so by law or regulation.
HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM YOU
At all times information will be collected directly from you. Information
will be collected by your Creative Finance Institute representative,
from you completing a form on our website, or other application forms
or surveys.
ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You are legally entitled to ask us for a summary of what information
we hold about you and / or copies of that personal information. We will
give you access unless the law allows or requires us not to do so.
General information, such as your current details, can easily be supplied.
More detailed historical information may not be so easy to access. Under
these circumstances a small fee may be charged for the cost of retrieving
and supplying the details to you. Please allow up to 20 working days for

HOW SECURE IS THE INFORMATION WE KEEP ABOUT YOU
At all times we look to protect your personal information from loss,
misuse, unauthorised access, or modification. All staff are required to
be aware of their privacy responsibilities and are required to maintain
client privacy at all times. Access to both physical and electronic files
is restricted to those whose roles reasonably require access to the information.
We do not take responsibility for the security of information outside
our control such as when it is sent by post, courier, facsimile, or over
the Internet.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
We are required to keep information about you for some time after you
are no longer a customer. Generally this is either because of legal requirements
regarding our insurance or in the advent of a legal or other dispute.
Once we are no longer required to hold the information we will either
destroy it in a secure manner or permanently de-identify it.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time to comply with any
new regulations or changes in business practice. Any updated policy will
be available from our website. This policy was last updated in January
2005.
